Two Roots makes traditional and non-alcoholic beers, but has recently begun offering several cannabis-infused non-alcoholic craft brews in California and Nevada.
While Two Roots will start brewing its traditional and non-alcoholic beers at Rochester Mills’ brewery, the cannabis process won’t be as straightforward.
The Rochester Mills Production Brewery will create the non-alcoholic beer that’s the base for the cannabis beer, but will then ship the brew to licensed cannabis manufacturers in the area, which will infuse and sell the beer.
Because it’s only legal on a state-by-state level, cannabis can’t cross state lines, so all infusion and distribution must be handled locally by licensed cannabis dispensers.
