Lowell, a West Michigan city of 4,000 residents, is moving ahead with recreational marijuana.

The Lowell City Council unanimously approved two ordinances Monday, Oct. 21, that outline their rules and regulations for operating recreational marijuana dispensaries, processing facilities, growing operations and other businesses associated with the industry.
