It took roughly three years to secure the necessary permits and licenses, but on Monday the village of Camden’s first medical marijuana provisioning center opened its doors for business.
“It’s been a lot of labor and time,” said The Nest’s co-creator Amanda Wills, who along with Courtney Sekela, opened the dispensary. “From the beginning it’s just been Courtney and I, we don’t have any big investors.”
The Nest, located at 122 S. Main Street in Camden, offers a generous selection of products to registered medical cannabis patients or primary caregivers, including dozens of strains of flower, edibles, vape cartridges, concentrates, oils and more.
“We carry everything that the customers base would want,” Sekela said. “And it’s just an initial stock, we plan to have more once we learn what people like.”
