Thanks to an abandoned pool hall, two former National Football League athletes are a step closer to realizing their entrepreneurial ambitions.
Earlier this week, Calvin Johnson, who spent his entire nine-year NFL career with the Detroit Lions and is considered among the games greatest wide receivers, and Rob Sims, a nine-year NFL vet and Johson’s former teammate, greeted media at the former pool hall in Niles, Michigan, the South Bend Tribune reports, where they will soon be opening their first cannabis retail location.
Johnson and Sims co-founded Primitive, a Michigan-based cannabis company, in 2019.
