Northeast MINorml Chapter Meeting Features Jamie Lowell

Northeast MINorml, one of the most active and consistent local Michigan chapters of the National Organization to Reform Marijuana Laws, has announced a public meeting Saturday November 7th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The chapter meeting will be held at the VFW Post 3735 located at 240 Chrysler RD. in Oscoda, MI. 48750. 

The group will conduct regular business, accept new membership and vote on the Board of Direc tors. The group has conducted and supported many educational meetings and seminars in the last year as well as host fundraisers and a roadside cleanup effort in Iosco County in conjunction with cannabis retail store The Botanical Company of Tawas. 

Jamie Lowell, an author of the MRTMA (cannabis legalization act) language and a long-standing cannabis industry figure currently working with The Botanical Company will discuss the set of expungement bills recently passed by legislature and signed into law by the Governor. He will also lead a discussion on the results and impact of the recent election on cannabis, as well as some possibly concerning pending legislation that may be considered by lawmakers in the upcoming ‘lame duck’ legislative session.
