On Four20 Post, our focus is on cannabis record expungement. Headlining the show was Ryan Basore who spent 30 months in federal prison for operating a Michigan-legal medical marijuana grow facility that was busted by the federal Drug Enforcement Administration.

Basore now works with more than 50 licensed cannabis companies to sell his legal cannabis products and uses 10 percent of the proceed to helping others harmed by the War on Drugs, including job skills training programs, prisoner re-entry initiatives, expungement clinics, and more. The company’s first product is its “Diamonds” concentrate, sold in Gage stores. Basore received a $50,000 grant from Gage to start Redemption.

Also on the show were Josey Scoggin from Sons and Daughters United and Josh Covert from Covert Law. Both have teamed up with Redemption Foundation to start the Great Lakes Expungement Network to help any Michigan resident get their cannabis record expunged. The program starts April 11 thanks to the Clean Slate Act.
