Michigan vertically integrated cannabis operator Cresco Labs will celebrate the opening of a new cultivation and processing facility in Marshall October 4. Cresco also announced plans to hire 110 additional employees. The Marshall facility, the former Schuler’s Cheese & Campbell Soup factory, currently employs more than 60 people.
The open jobs are in cultivation and manufacturing and offer an average starting wage of $15 per hour. Produced at the new Marshall facility, Cresco is the largest U.S. brand, according to marketing research firm BDS Analytics. The grand opening event will celebrate the new facility’s first cannabis harvest.
To meet increased demand, Cresco plans to expand the accessibility of its 2021 Hash Bash Cup winning edibles brand, Mindy’s, as well as its Good News and High Supply brands.
