Common Citizen announced Tuesday in a press release it will donate more than 2,000 14-pound frozen turkeys this Thanksgiving to those in need across Michigan.
Last Saturday, LightnUp Provisioning Center in Flint gave away 1000 turkeys to local residents in a program made possible by HeroProjectUSA.Org.
Common Citizen is partnering with local municipalities and organizations to distribute turkeys in the following communities:
- Eastpointe
- Lansing
- Marshall
- Flint
- Battle Creek
- Pontiac
- Ferndale
- Westland
- Detroit
- Lake Orion
- Lathrup Village
