The Michigan Marijuana Report is adding a second email distribution focused on the state’s growing cannabis industry. The Four20 Spotlight will offer longer-form content with the goal of educating and informing readers about an issue, product, service, or company. Unlike the Thursday weekly newsletter, the Monday Spotlight will also carry content provided by our sponsors when those articles meet the report’s editorial standards requiring informational or educational content.
According to Publisher Dan Keelan, “We get requests from people in the industry who want us to provide longer-form content including interviews, guest columns, and video. This new offering will allow us to provide that without changing the nature of our flagship Thursday report.”
The new feature will also function as an email and web companion to the Wednesday Four20 Post Live streaming show. Show host Mike Brennan says “the show was conceived as a way of showcasing leaders in Michigan’s cannabis industry. We hope that the Spotlight feature does the same thing.”
