Michigan Marijuana Report has formed a strategic partnership with the Small Business Association of Michigan to give cannabis businesses access to SBAM’s group buying power for products and services, including low-cost insurance.

“We’re excited to work with SBAM, an organization I have been a member of for more than a decade,” said Mike Brennan, Editor of Michigan Marijuana Report. “Now that long standing relationship will help benefit Michigan’s fastest growing business segment, adult-use and legal cannabis.”

“In 2021 alone, total cannabis sales in Michigan nearly topped $2 billion and are projected to grow to nearly $3 billion in 2022,” Brennan said. “These businesses need to connect with SBAM’s partners to obtain the types of products and services that all businesses, regardless of sectors, require.”

A key part of the new partnership is the Michigan Marijuana Report Business Network launching March 1. The MMR Network program will allow Michigan cannabis companies the opportunity to obtain access to all of SBAM’s member benefits.

“The cannabis industry is experiencing huge growth. SBAM stands ready to provide these businesses with the support they need to run a successful business,” said SBAM President & CEO Brian Calley.

While SBAM understands every business is different, there are common needs. Its tools help businesses attract and retain talent, manage employee benefit programs, offer discounts on products businesses are already buying, and helping businesses stay compliant with state and federal regulations. SBAM also offers business training and networking opportunities.
