Metrc would like to inform Michigan licensees of a slower than expected resolution time for issues in testing. This extended response time is specific to issues when packages have been locked for testing. We have been experiencing higher volumes of requests, as well as repeat inquiries due to the extended times.
We are working diligently to resolve all tickets as soon as possible. We do understand the business impact on individual licensees and do not take this lightly. Metrc must follow the protocols set forth in conjunction with the CRA in processing these requests. The due diligence to the process does ensure that public safety is prioritized above all else.
We do not anticipate this extended response time to continue much longer and assure you that we are taking every opportunity to complete requests as efficiently and quickly as possible.
