JARS Cannabis and its plans to unveil an incredible, new Pride-inspired public art mural in collaboration with Michigan-based LGBTQ+ artist and muralist, Joey Salamon, and the Chicago-based, art curatorial partnership and duo, Beauty & Brawn.
The mural’s official unveiling event and ribbon-cutting ceremony that is being hosted by JARS in downtown Ferndale September 16 from 5-8pm.
Titled “Polychromatic Super You” the 40×25 ft. mural intentionally incorporates the use of digital technology and is designed to drive awareness about Michigan’s LGBTQ+ community, along with donations in support of Detroit’s LGBTQ+ resource agency and safe haven, the Ruth Ellis Center.
