Notice of Upcoming Annual Financial Statement (AFS) Requirements

The purpose of this bulletin is to inform licensees that the Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) will begin releasing information regarding the new consolidated Annual Financial Statement (AFS) requirements in the coming weeks and to alert medical and adult-use licensees to ensure their Accela Citizens Access Portal (ACA) contacts are accurate.

Information generally outlining the new consolidated AFS requirements will be released by bulletin. Individual notices outlining the specific requirements and AFS due dates will be emailed to the contacts(s) listed on the licensee’s entity record in the ACA Portal and include the following contact designations:

  • registered entity
  • person completing online form (medical)
  • person completing application (adult-use)

Licensee supplemental applicants will no longer receive AFS notices. Licensees need to review the record contacts for medical and adult-use entity records by following the instructions in this resource.

If the entity’s authorized contact(s) need updating, the applicable form(s) must be completed to add, remove, or amend a record contact. These form(s) should be emailed to CRA- Amendments@michigan.gov by November 9, 2022. This will provide enough time for the CRA to process requests prior to the release of individual AFS requirement notices.
