On Saturday April 1, cannabis enthusiasts celebrated the sweet leaf at Ann Arbor’s annual Hash Bash. Metro Times provides photos of the celebrants.

Started in 1972 to protest the arrest of activist John Sinclair for possessing two joints, the Hash Bash has grown into a political rally, a festival with the adjacent Monroe Street Fair, and a celebration of the end of cannabis prohibition in Michigan.
