LIV Cannabis Co. celebrated the grand opening June 17 of its Detroit location at 12604 E. Jefferson Ave., is one of the first adult-use cannabis dispensaries in the City of Detroit, the company said in a press release. The location will be operated in partnership with legacy Detroit entrepreneur Jason Malone.
“We are excited to continue offering our amazing cannabis products in the heart of Michigan’s largest city and to serve the individual needs of our patients and adult-use customers in Detroit and beyond,” said Dennis Zoma, LIV Cannabis chief retail officer. “Working with Jason, we look forward to creating job opportunities, giving back to this thriving city and playing a key role in its ongoing revitalization.”

Based in Ferndale, LIV Cannabis operates dispensary retail stores in Grand Rapids, Ferndale, Lansing and Lake Orion, and plans to open its Westland store later this year.
