Marijuana-infused chocolates have been recalled in Michigan over concerns that the potency per dose exceeds allowable limits and is inconsistent.

The 94 packages of recalled edibles, named Sweet Cheeks White Chocolate Booties, were sold at Endo, 307 E. Beecher in Adrian; and Farmhouse Provisioning Center, 9100 US-2 in the Upper Peninsula’s Gould City, between June 16 and Oct. 17.

Thirty-two packages were sold, according to Cannabis Regulatory Agency spokesperson David Harns.

“The marijuana-infused edibles are being recalled because the producer could not provide evidence the product is homogeneous, and the product exceeds the maximum dose of 10 mg of THC per serving,” the CRA said in a recall notice issued on Nov. 20. “In the statewide monitoring system (METRC), the product is spelled ‘Sweet Cheecks White Chocolate 10 pc’ and as ‘Sweet Cheeks’ on the product packaging.”
