Some mid-Michigan marijuana dispensaries are facing disciplinary action for non-compliance, packaging, advertising, and other violations, according to the Cannabis Regulatory Agency.

The CRA now issues a monthly Disciplinary Action Report (DAR) listing formal administrative complaints and disciplinary actions taken against adult-use and medical licensees. The CRA said it is committed to making this information publicly available for transparency, and is committed to continue implementing new processes with transparency in mind.

The following mid-Michigan dispensaries facing disciplinary actions are:

  • Vassar: 664 Vassar LLC (Premier Provisioning Center #2), license number AU-R-000278
    • Fine imposed, other terms, submit documents, suspension, and training for failure to report material changes such as physical location/operations, general operational issues, METRC non-compliance, non-compliant transfers between marijuana businesses, and surveillance/security
  • Vassar: 664 Vassar LLC (Premier Provisioning Center #2), license number PC-000035
    • Fine imposed for failure to report material changes, such as physical location/operations, general operational issues, METRC non-compliance, non-compliant transfers between marijuana businesses, and surveillance/security
  • Flint: First Dort Enterprises, LLC dba First Organic Solutions, license number PC-000252
    • Fine imposed and submit documents for AFS non-compliance
  • Flint: Sozo Health, Inc dba Sozo Cannabis, license number AU-R-000688
    • Fine imposed for packaging and advertising
  • Bay City: HDMD, LLC dba Bud Brothers Huron, license number PC-000735
    • Fine imposed and submit documents for AFS non-compliance
  • Bay City: HDMD, LLC dba Bud Brothers Provisioning, license number AU-R-000603
    • Fine imposed and submit documents for AFS non-compliance
  • Burton: MJC DEVELOPMENT, LLC dba Cannabis King, license number AU-R-000512
    • Fine imposed and submit documents for METRC non-compliance and packaging and advertising

The CRA said the general descriptions for the bases for action are not all-inclusive, but are a means of interpreting the DAR report and the list of rule violations should not be considered exhaustive. To view the list, click here.
