The Cannabis Regulatory Agency will feature Sarah Rusnell, outreach manager, with the Michigan Department of Treasury, Sept. 26 at 10 am in a zoom conference.
Join Rusnell to learn about taxes related to the sale of cannabis in Michigan: sales tax, use tax on purchases, and marihuana retailers excise (MRE) tax. First in a series of four, this workshop will help you understand which taxes apply to your business, when tax exemptions or deductions are appropriate, and how these taxes are interrelated.
The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session which will allow the attendees to ask questions that may be answered in real-time.
