The Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) announced the launch of two new functionalities in Metrc this month.
- Administrative Recall Function
This new feature allows the CRA to apply an Administrative Recall status to packages within the statewide monitoring system. This enhances product safety oversight and improves communication between the CRA and licensees.
When a package is placed under recall, administrators and owners listed in Metrc will automatically receive an email notification.

- Expiration Date Function for Infused Edible Packages
Licensees now have the option to self-report expiration dates for infused edible packages. This feature helps ensure better tracking and inventory management for infused products.
