The Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) announced its next virtual education session features Karyena Miller, founder and CEO of LEACIF. She provides actions businesses can take to prepare for a smooth and successful AFS process, as well as practical tips and controls that can be incorporated to help ensure accounting records remain “AFS ready”.
She will cover:
- How to reconcile general ledger revenue to METRC and identify discrepancies
- How to reconcile agreement terms
- Best practices for providing vendor sample documentation
- Common issues that slow down the AFS process and that can make it more cumbersome or costly
The goal of the session is to provide useful takeaways that can be incorporated both now and for when your next AFS report period and due date arrive.
The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session which will allow the attendees to ask questions that may be answered in real-time.
