If you want to legally drink a THC beverage in Ohio, you have until March 20. That’s when Senate Bill 56 takes effect, banning all intoxicating hemp products and narrowing the state’s voter-approved marijuana law. Starting then, residents won’t be able to bring marijuana from another state (say, Michigan) into Ohio.
A group called Ohioans for Cannabis Choice wants to repeal much of the law. It now has the go-ahead to start collecting about 250,000 signatures from half of Ohio’s 88 counties in order to put the issue on the ballot. But it has only until the law takes effect.
