Ohio’s regulated marijuana market continues to expand, with new data from the Division of Cannabis Control showing billions in total sales and a steadily growing number of licensed operators across the state.

According to the agency’s “Program Update: By the Numbers,” last updated February 17, there are now 37 cultivator Certificates of Operation, including 24 Level I dual-use and 15 Level II dual-use certificates. The state has also issued 46 processor Certificates of Operation, all of which are dual-use.

On the retail side, 198 dispensaries hold dual-use Certificates of Operation. In addition, regulators report 11 RFA II provisional licenses and 71 10(B) provisional licenses, indicating further retail expansion may be on the horizon.

The testing infrastructure includes eight total laboratories, six with dual-use Certificates of Operation and two operating under medical-only provisional licenses.

Sales figures through February 14 show combined medical and non-medical product sales reaching $3,521,280,444. Of that total, $1,206,140,443 stems from non-medical sales, while $2,315,138,954 comes from medical purchases. Regulators report 539,279 pounds of plant material sold overall, along with more than 54 million units of manufactured products.

In total, nearly 38 million receipts have been generated across both markets, underscoring the scale of consumer participation.
