A Portage marijuana dispensary has been hit with a $15,000 fine and 14-day license suspension.
Doja, a cannabis retailer at 4203 E. Centre Ave., faced discipline because it accepted and sold marijuana products that were illegally transferred from Lake Effect, a sister store with an expired license, per the state.
Doja’s 14-day license suspension began March 30, per WMUK. Doja also has a location in Watervliet that’s listed as temporarily closed.
State records show the improper transfer occurred on Dec. 16, 2025, despite the sister store’s operating license having lapsed three days earlier.
