For the first time ever, a United States military veteran — from Michigan — has been elected president of the Cannabis Regulators Association (CANNRA), an international non-profit organization founded in 2020.
Michigan Cannabis Regulatory Agency Executive Director Brian Hanna, who previously served as board member for CANNRA during the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 terms, was chosen as president at an election held earlier this month during CANNRA’s 5th annual external stakeholder meeting in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
