The Niles Township Planning Commission hosted a public hearing to consider another marijuana ordinance.
It would allow retailers in business-zoned areas—but with added restrictions meant to protect the township if voters approve marijuana businesses at the ballot box this November.
The commission ultimately recommended the ordinance to the township board—but not without some changes.
