This November, Menominee residents will vote on whether to increase the number of marijuana dispensaries in the city.
The city of Menominee currently limits marijuana retailers to 9 dispensary licenses, but that number could rise to 13 if residents approve a ballot proposal this November. The measure advanced to the ballot after supporters submitted well over the minimum number of petition signatures required under Michigan law.
