Lume Cannabis Co. will begin offering its high-quality cannabis products for adult-use customers in Kalkaska and surrounding communities beginning July 28.

Located at 902 S. Cedar St. in Kalkaska, this is Lume’s 21st adult-use store in Michigan and one of 22 new adult-use stores Lume will open across the state this year. The store will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
The first 100 customers to make a purchase at Lume’s Kalkaska store will receive a free Lume swag bag. Customers placing an order of $50 or more will receive their choice of a free 0.7g pre-roll or 2-pack of Lume edibles. All products are also 20% off storewide.
A 20% discount is also being offered at the Kalkaska store to cannabis industry employees. A company ID or paystub will be required to receive the discount. This is the first time Lume is offering a discount to cannabis industry members.
Lume plans to open 22 new adult-use stores across the state in 2021 bringing its total number of Michigan adult-use stores to 40 by the end of the year. The ambitious effort is part of Lume’s goal of having 100 adult-use stores open throughout Michigan by 2024.
In June, Lume announced an innovative partnership with 313 Presents, Detroit’s premier live entertainment company. Through this deal, Lume will become the exclusive cannabis brand of 313 Presents’ DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan. The announcement represents the very first integrated, activated cannabis partnership in 313 Presents’ portfolio, which will include marketing opportunities spanning culture, music and entertainment.
Last year, Lume opened 11 stores throughout Michigan, introduced five new product lines and more than 30 new products, and created nearly 350 jobs statewide. Lume Delivery made 15,000 deliveries throughout Michigan and covered more than 200,000 miles last year.
