Lume Cannabis Co., backed by the Belle Tire Company, has opened its 29th store in Michigan, this time in Battle Creek Township, the ninth adult-use store in northern Michigan.

“This has been a year of explosive growth for Lume Cannabis Co. and we’re ending the year on a high note with the opening of our Bear Creek Township adult-use store, which is the second in the Petoskey area,” said Doug Hellyar, president and COO of Lume. “At Lume, we take pride in offering an unmatched variety of safe and high-quality THC and CBD products, and we are excited to introduce our brand and show cannabis in a new light to more adult-use consumers in northern Michigan.”

Lume’s Bear Creek Township store is located at 1520 US-131 in Petoskey and will be open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.

The first 100 customers to make a purchase at Lume’s Bear Creek Township store will receive a free Lume swag bag. Customers placing an order of $50 or more will receive a free 0.7-gram pre-roll. All products are 20% off storewide.

This year, Lume has opened 16 adult-use stores. The ambitious effort is part of Lume’s goal of having 100 adult-use stores open throughout Michigan by 2024.
