It’s been one year since New Standard opened its seventh cannabis provisioning center in Saugatuck. As New Standard Saugatuck prepares to celebrate, the Michigan cannabis retailer now has 9 dispensaries across the state with its 10th opening soon in Grand Rapids. The celebration takes place July 15-16 featuring specials, vendor spotlights, and local food trucks including Smoke’N Joes BBQ and Palazzolo’s Dairy.
Located just minutes from Saugatuck Township’s downtown shopping district and marinas, New Standard Saugatuck has spent the past year getting to know its new neighbors, many of which have become regular guests.
“This location has lived up to everything we hoped for it,” said Howard Luckoff, New Standard CEO and co-founder. “The store’s design is incredibly welcoming including an outdoor porch area that allows connect before and after they shop. We intentionally designed this store to emulate the characteristics of Saugatuck and create sense home for both locals and visitors.”
With more than 275 products and a staff of budtenders and product specialists ready to share their expertise with guests, New Standard Saugatuck offers both the local community and those traveling across the state a safe space to shop, discover and become more educated about the benefits of cannabis.
Over the past year, the Saugatuck location has partnered with numerous community organizations and nonprofits as part of New Standard’s mission to be an integral part of each community it serves.
New Standard Saugatuck Anniversary celebration takes place July 15-16 with food trucks, entertainment, gift bags, giveaways and vendor specials throughout the weekend. For more information and a full line-up of events, visit New Standard on Instagram or Facebook.
