Effective February 21, the Cannabis Regulatory Agency combined the eleven rule sets regulating the commercial marijuana industry into one combined rule set. This combined rule set will make it easier to use common search tools to search all the relevant rules for terms or provisions that may occur in multiple rule sets. It will also streamline and simplify future rulemaking processes.
This combining of the rules did not result in any changes to any of the existing rules nor did it result in any change in rule numbers. This change only affects the formatting and organization of the rules.
The following rule sets are being combined into one new rule set titled “Marihuana Rules”:
- Marihuana Licenses – R 420.1 to R 420.29
- Marihuana Licensees – R 420.101 to R 420.113
- Marihuana Operations – R 420.201 to R 420.215
- Marihuana Sampling and Testing – R 420.301 to R 420.308
- Marihuana Infused Products and Edible Marijuana Product – R 420.401 to R 420.405
- Marihuana Sale or Transfer – R 420.501 to R 420.511
- Marihuana Employees – R 420.601 to R 420.603
- Marihuana Hearings – R 420.701 to R 420.709

The multiple rule sets found on the CRA website and in the state’s administrative rulemaking system have been replaced with the one combined rule set.
