First Recreational Marijuana Sales In Kalamazoo County Expected Friday

The first sales of recreational marijuana in Kalamazoo County will come from former county commissioner John Taylor’s business, KKind.

KKind will start selling adult-use products — in addition to medical products already available — starting at 10 a.m. Friday, March 13, at its 521 E. Mosel Ave. location in Kalamazoo Township.

Although Taylor is calling it the “end of prohibition,” he said there won’t be much fanfare when the doors open for the first time to recreational clients.
