The current COVID-19 pandemic is impacting almost every facet of American life, including the cannabis industry. Join Dorsey to discuss the impact on consumer demand for cannabis products, the approach that various states are taking with regards to the “essential” status of recreational and medicinal marijuana retail stores, and the most recent round of FDA warning letters to CBD companies making COVID-19 related claims.

Additionally the webinar will address commercializing the cannabis industry in the face of regulatory uncertainty. Despite federal and state legislative actions allowing the cultivation, sale and marketing of cannabis, regulatory and legal risks remain for the industry.  What is the current state of play, and how is it evolving?  Is it possible to market consumer goods containing CBD or other cannabinoids?  What are the regulatory and litigation risks?  What restrictions are there on financing cannabis businesses?  Dorsey’s panel will guide you through the legal and regulatory thicket and will address the industry’s most pressing questions.
