Nov 13, 2025 | Feature, Great Lakes Region, Michigan

The Cannabis Regulatory Agency announced Paul Dove, fire safety inspector, with the Bureau of Fire Services Cannabis Division has observed significant changes in extraction processes. These changes present new challenges for licensed processors, particularly regarding the availability of replacement parts, equipment modifications, and ongoing maintenance.

It is essential for extraction facility owners and operators to understand the technical requirements for equipment changes and modifications, as well as the importance of proper operator training.

Join Dove for an educational session focused on the key issues facing cannabis extraction operations. This session will provide valuable resources and guidance on equipment regulations, maintenance, and best practices for staying compliant in a rapidly changing industry.

The presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session which will allow the attendees to ask questions that may be answered in real-time.
