A new cannabis dispensary is preparing to open in Mankato this fall, marking the Prairie Island Indian Community’s first off-reservation retail location and the latest expansion of its tribally owned cannabis enterprise.
Island Peži is targeting an opening sometime in August or early fall, pending final regulatory approvals and completion of licensing requirements, according to the location’s general manager, Erik Arvidson.
At 1809 Adams Street, the dispensary will offer adult-use cannabis products including flower, pre-rolls, vape cartridges, disposable vape products and edibles. Cannabis-infused beverages will be offered once it’s on the Minnesota market, and hemp-derived products, including CBD and other cannabinoid offerings, will also be available.
