New York: Cannabis Retail Dispensary Proposed In Fredonia

A marijuana retail store is being proposed in the northern end of Chautauqua County, which, if approved, would be the first one in the Dunkirk/Fredonia area.

The Chautauqua County Planning Board was notified that Empire Smoke Shop 9 is seeking a Special Use Permit for an adult-use cannabis retail dispensary to be placed at 10376 Route 60, Pomfret.

That is the location of the former Valu Home Center, which now has spots for multiple businesses.

Currently In that plaza is an auto parts store, a sub shop, a liquor store and a hair salon chain. Each store operates independently.
